New AC Installation for Northern California Homes
Installing a new air conditioning system is one of the most significant home comfort investments you'll make. Done right, a properly sized and installed system will keep your home comfortable for 15–20 years and run efficiently throughout Northern California's long cooling season. Done wrong, you'll pay more to run it and replace it sooner. Polar Air Heating and Cooling takes installation seriously — we size systems correctly, install them to manufacturer specifications, and test everything before we leave.
We install central air conditioning systems, heat pump systems, and ductless mini-splits from all major manufacturers. Whether you're replacing an aging system, adding AC to a home that never had it, or upgrading to a higher-efficiency unit to reduce your energy bills, we'll help you choose the right system and install it properly.

(530) 248-7866Why Proper AC Installation Matters
Correct System Sizing
An oversized AC cools too fast without removing humidity, leaving your home clammy. An undersized unit runs constantly and can't keep up on hot days. We perform Manual J load calculations to size your system correctly.
Manufacturer-Certified Installation
Improper installation voids manufacturer warranties. We install to spec so your warranty stays intact and your system performs as designed.
All Major Brands
We install Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman, and other leading brands. We'll help you compare options and choose the right system for your budget and efficiency goals.
Full System Testing
Before we leave, we test airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and thermostat operation to confirm everything is working correctly.
